The principle that is NOT part of behaviorism is centered around the concept of heredity. Behaviorism is a psychological approach that emphasizes the role of environmental factors in shaping behaviors. It focuses on observable behaviors and the responses to various stimuli, asserting that learning can be understood through examining how individuals react to their environment.

Behaviorism primarily investigates how external circumstances influence actions, advocating that behavior is a result of conditioning rather than inherited traits or genetic predispositions. The emphasis is placed on what can be seen and measured, disregarding internal states or hereditary influences.

The other concepts mentioned, like the emphasis on the environment, observable behaviors, and the use of stimuli in learning, are central to behaviorist theories. They stress the importance of interactions with the environment and the measurable outcomes that arise from these interactions, forming a foundational aspect of behaviorist learning theories.
